TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
