TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
The Broker - What It Is
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
