Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
